Whilst there are many standards and guidelines around the world that address power system earthing and grounding, there are many inconsistencies and some gaps in the definition of terminology used in this field.
This project has the objective of developing unified, standardized and better explained terminology regarding earthing and grounding. It is envisaged that this page will include a consolidated list of terms, which can be referenced by standards, guidelines, design documents, test reports and other documentation.
This endeavor has been initiated by Safearth Consulting, however the intent is that this a collaboration between experts around the world. We welcome expressions of interest in participating in this project.
